IN THIS LESSON

Session 2 focuses on how to transform a written science story into a clear, engaging video plan.
We explore why video is such a powerful communication tool, how meaning emerges through the sequence of shots, and how to design that sequence using the fundamentals of visual storytelling.
Participants learn to “query” their story (audience, message, purpose, channel), script it using a three-column method (action, sound, camera), and apply the basics of framing, angles, and camera movement to shape a coherent narrative. The session ends with a first storyboard draft: the blueprint for a science video built with intention and clarity.
